Between August 18 and August 24, 1943, FDR attended the Quebec Conference with Winston Churchill and diplomatic and military advisors to determine the Allied military strategy during WWII.
Several important war tactics were decided at the conference, including the plans for a U.S. landing in Italy and the D. Day invasion of Normandy. The U.S. and Great Britain also agreed on no nuclear attacks without mutual consent.
